Mary Confurius

Mary Confurius is the project of Marije Haar and producer Lars Spijkervet. Their music is raw, dark and rhythmic, infused with a sultry melancholy that balances between singer-songwriter and electronica. The duo’s sound evokes associations with artists such as Massive Attack, Portishead and Moderat. Following their performance at ESNS 2020, they released the singles Light Lies and Cock Tale, after which their debut album Hit Them Hard was released in 2022. Since 2025, Mary Confurius has been actively working on new material, set to be released in 2026. Previously, Mary Confurius has opened for acts such as Doodseskader, Bong Ra and Witch Club Satan.
